Co-written and directed by Alex Woo, the Netflix animated adventure In Your Dreams finds two siblings trying to save their parents’ marriage in the most unusual way. Stevie and Elliot discover a magical book that allows them to control their dreams. When their mother is offered a new teaching job, and their musician father has qualms about relocating, Stevie and Elliot dream share with the intent of locating the mythical Sandman. Their plan: persuade the Sandman to help their dream of keeping their parents together come true. The voice cast of In You Dream is led by Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Stevie, Elias Janssen as Elliot, Cristin Milioti as their mother, Simu Liu as their father, Craig Robinson as Elliot’s favorite stuffed animal Baloney Tony, and Omid Djalili as Sandman. In Your Dreams premiered Nov. 14 on Netflix. Alex Woo makes his animated feature film debut with In Your Dream, which he co-wrote with Erik Benson. Woo won a Student Academy Award for his 2004 animated short Rex Steele: Nazi Smasher. He served as animator and storyboard artist for the Adult Swim animated series The Venture Bros. before spending more than decade as a story adult for Pixar Animation Studios. In 2016, Woo founded Kuku Studios, which produced the Go! Go! Cory Carson animated series for Netflix.
