Adam’s Apple employs footage shot by Amy Jenkins to chronicle her son Adam Sieswerda's journey as a trans teen. The documentary examines the trials and tribulations faced by Adam at home and at school and captures efforts by Amy and her husband to understand, support, and nurture their son as he finds his way in life.
